Valle de la Berrueza – Tierra Estella, Navarra

El Valle de la Berrueza es un precioso territorio que se extiende en la zona occidental de Tierra Estella, entre las localidades de Mendaza, Mirafuentes, Mues, Nazar, Piedramillera y Sorlada. Me gusta visitarlo en casi todas las estaciones, pero especialmente el otoño y la primavera. Sus suaves colinas, con mezcla de campos de cultivo y pequeños parches de bosque, me parecen muy fotogénicos.
En esta entrada os dejo algunas fotos de los últimos días, cuando las nieblas han acompañado para crear una atmósfera incomparable, y además una salida del sol sobre la Basílica de San Gregorio Ostiense, que preside el valle desde su borde más meridional: tuve que ir hasta cinco días para conseguir la foto del sol tras la basílica, pero creo que ha merecido la pena. Cuando hay nieblas persistentes, subir a alguna de las cimas que rodean el valle puede ser una buena idea, ya que permiten encontrar vistas como estas:
Y aquí os dejo este amanecer, con candilazo incluido previo a la salida del sol, de hace solo un par de días. No había intentado nunca hacer una foto del solo saliendo sobre el horizonte, espero que os guste:

Valle de la Berrueza is a small area in the Western end of Tierra Estella, between the villages of Mendaza, Mirafuentes, Mues, Nazar, Piedramillera and Sorlada. I like to visit it year round, but my favorite times are definitely Fall and Spring. Its rolling hills, with crops and patches of forest, are beautiful.
In this post I show you some photos of the last few days, when the fog has made up for some amazing images, plus a sun rise on the Basílica de San Gregorio Ostiense, which stands high on the southern edge of the valley: I had to go the spot for five days in a row until I could finally take the sunrise image, but I think it’s been worth it.
